SiLiMes #8 – ?

I think I was inspired by Johnny Cash’s “A Boy Named Sue”, but I don’t right recall. Bit of trivia – did you know that that song was written by Shel Silverstein author of Light in the Attic and Where the Sidewalk Ends?

There’s a little library in a middle school,
with an assistant who likes to make jokes
and get a laugh outta folks
To that end, he’ll behave like a fool.

Now, on some of the books he had to take note
This task wasn’t particularly exciting;
In order to make it more inviting
He would send a reminder in the form of an anecdote

These clever vignettes had to contain the hold expiration,
Which, in this case is FRIDAY 1/6
He must also add the student’s name into the mix –
send * without hesitation.
